Ludington shuts down Manistee in a Lakes 8 boys soccer contest

The Ludington boys soccer team pitched a 5-0 shutout on the road against Manistee on Tuesday in a Lakes 8 game.

Ben Knoer carried Ludington with two goals while Caleb Schoon, Lucien Chasse and Lynn Richard added a goal.

Schoon chipped in with three assists for the Orioles and Sam Bandstra contributed with two.

Kyle Wendt was great in the net for Ludington, stopping all nine shots he faced.

The Orioles improved to 12-4-2 on the season and 6-2 in conference play.
