The Ludington soccer team defeated Boyne City 1-0 on Tuesday in a Division 3 regional semifinal game at 
Clare High School.
The Orioles now advance to Thursday’s regional finals against Big Rapids. The winner will move on to next week’s Division 3 state semifinals.
Caleb Schoon scored the lone goal for Ludington against Boyne City, with an assist from Lucien Chase. Goalkeeper Kyle Wendt collected the shutout with three saves.
The Orioles are now 16-4-2 on the season.
