The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team will get a chance to defend its Class D 
district championship after beating Kent City Algoma Christian in three sets on Wednesday in the semifinals.
The set scores were 25-16, 28-26, 25-17.
The Eagles were led by Bri Johnson with 16 Kills. Haven Borghi added four aces.
Fruitport Calvary Christian, which won the disrict title last year, will host Friday’s championship game against Muskegon Catholic.
