Ludington volleyball slides past Benzie Central, heads for district finals

The Ludington volleyball team defeated Benzie Central in a Class B district semifinal match on Wednesday night in just three sets.

The set scores were 25-14, 25-21 and 25-10.

Erin Maltbie led Ludington in kills with 12 while also co-leading the team with five aces, alongside teammate Mackenzie Luce.

Luce also led the team in digs with 13 and Courtney Gerovac contributed with a team-high 21 assists.

Ludington will face the winner of the Cadillac/Reed City semifinal in the district finals on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
