The Ravenna volleyball team ended its season with a very tough five-set loss to Beaverton on Tuesday in the Class C regional semifinals at Pinconning High School.

The Bulldogs won the first set 25-22, lost the third and fourth (26-24 and 25-14), then rallied to force a fifth-set tiebreaker with a 26-24 win in the fourth.

But they dropped the fifth set 15-6 to send their season.

Amber Jacobs had 44 kills for the Bulldogs, Megan Crowley had 51 assists, and Haley Lemkie served seven aces. Defensively Amber Jacobs had 34 digs and three blocks.

Ravenna finished the season with a 27-16-1 record.
