Braquelle Osborne hit a layup with 11 seconds remaining to give the Montague girls basketball team an exciting 49-47 victory over Ravenna on Thursday in a West Michigan Conference battle.

The game was close from start to finish. Ravenna led 11-10 after one quarter and 25-24 at halftime. Montague led 37-36 after three quarters.

The game was tied when Montague got a steal and Osborne ended up with the ball, drove the lane and hit the winning bucket. Ravenna was unable to get a shot off in the remaining seconds.

Braquelle Osborne led the Wildcats with 14 points and five steals. Morgan Osborne and Kat Moreau each added nine points.

Megan Crowley scored 25 points for Ravenna. Jessica McWatters had 13 assists and Chloe Lemkie grabbed eight rebounds.
