The West Michigan Lake Hawks’ recent trend of losing big leads continued on Saturday.

The Lake Hawks had an 11-point lead after one quarter and a nine-point advantage at halftime, but ended up falling to the Kentucky Enforcers 113-106 in an ABA road game.

The Lake Hawks dropped to 6-4 on the season.

West Michigan led 31-20 at the first break and 57-48 at halftime. But Kentucky pulled ahead with a 34-20 third quarter surge and pulled out the victory.

The Lake Hawks were hurt by 21 turnovers, including nine in the pivotal third quarter.

Terry Walker led the Lake hawks with 25 points, while Marquis Brewer had 20 points and five assists. Malik London added a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
