Jarvis Walker’s double-double leads Mona Shores to a 67-54 win over Byron Center

Jarvis Walker’s double-double led the Mona Shores boys basketball team to a 67-54 non-league victory over Byron Center on Friday night.

Walker finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

The Mona Shores defense was lock down in the first quarter, only allowing three points. The Sailors led 35-24 at the half and extended their advantage in the second half.

James Gilbert had a near double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds for Mona Shores, while Devarius Carter added 12 points and six rebounds.
