A 31-point performance from Alyza Winston propelled the Muskegon Big Reds to a 71-50 victory over Reeths-Puffer on Friday in O-K Black Conference action.

Winston also played strong defensively with four steals. Daz’sha Day had a good night for Muskegon with 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Brianna Alexander had nine points and three steals.

The Big Reds improved to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the league.

MONA SHORES 52, KENOWA HILLS 43– The Sailors used a 22-point fourth quarter to grab the conference victory over the Knights Friday night. Mona Shores had a balanced scoring attack with Julia Tierman leading the way with 12 points, Ryliegh Wehler adding 10 and Nia Miskel and Veronica Kastelic scoring eight points apiece.

ROCKFORD 55, GRAND HAVEN 37 – The Buccaneers struggled during the second half after trailing by a 17-16 margin at halftime. The Bucs (8-3, 2-2) were led by Alli Keyser with 16 points and four steals while Sophie Mariano added 13 points to go along with six rebounds.

COMSTOCK PARK 53, SPRING LAKE 51– Spring Lake was down by nine points with less than three minutes on the clock and rallied, but could not finish any closer than two points. Madeline Zenas had a big night for the Lakers with 18 points and 23 rebounds. Jenna Core added nine points with nine rebounds and Phoebe Saunders totaled 11 points and five assists.
