The North Muskegon boys basketball team remained undefeated in the West Michigan Conference with a 52-31 victory over Whitehall on Friday.

The Norse only led 18-17 at halftime, then pulled ahead by 11 after three quarters and cruised  in the fourth.

TJ McKenzie had 20 points and six rebounds for North Muskegon, which improved to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play. Jesse Cooke added 12 points and five rebounds.

Brandon Rake had 10 points for Whitehall (5-1, 4-1) while Stephen Learman added eight.

OAKRIDGE 54, SHELBY 39 – TJ Ruel had 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a conference victory. Jalen Hughes also scored 14 for Oakridge while Alex Shoop had five assists. Tyler Schouten paced Shelby with 16 points.

RAVENNA 54, HART 31 – The Bulldogs (4-3, 2-2) pulled away from Hart to claim a comfortable win. Ravenna led just 8-4 after one quarter, then 25-15 at halftime and 38-21 after three. Jacob May and Josh Cox scored 12 points apiece to lead the Bulldogs. Alec Kempker scored seven to lead the Pirates.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 68, MONTAGUE 40 – Big performances from Tyler Bromley and Jeffery Carrier propelled MCC to a win over Montague. Bromley scored a game-high 20 points and dished out four assists. Carrier had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Nate Nummerdor added 13 for MCC. Sebastian Archer paced the Wildcats with 13 points. Both teams are now 4-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
