Sophia Wiard scored 39 points for the Oakridge girls basketball team to set a school record for points in a single game as the Eagles defeated Hart 70-46 on Tuesday in a West Michigan Conference game.

Oakridge led 16-11 after the first quarter and 27-15 at the half before pouring it on in the second half.

Kyla Stewart added nine points for the Eagles.

Landry Tate paced the Pirates with 13 points while Nicole Rockwell added 11.

SHELBY 55, WHITEHALL 38- The Tigers used a 23-10 second quarter run to pull away for a victory. Shelby (10-3, 7-1) was paced by Jenny Beckman with 25 points. The Vikings (6-6, 3-5) were led by Sierra Spann who put up 12 points to go along with eight rebounds while Abby Seeger added seven points and eight rebounds.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 53, NORTH MUSEKGON 38- The Spartans maintained the lead throughout the contest on Tuesday night. Mason County Central (9-3, 6-2) was paced by Rachel Allen with 14 points while Madisen Bennett and Maddy Bladzik each added eight and seven points, respectively. The Norsemen (1-10, 0-8) were led by Syann Fairfield with 14 points while Ellie Hayhurst added 11.
