The Pentwater Falcons outscored archrival Walkerville by 10 points in the fourth quarter and captured a 78-68 victory on Friday in a West Michigan D League contest.

Pentwater, which is now 11-4 overall and 7-3 in conference play, broke open the tight game with a 21-11 edge in the final eight minutes.

Iain Stewart scored 20 to lead the Falcons and Max Stoneman grabbed 15 rebounds to go with his 12 points.

CSAA

BIG RAPIDS 58, FREMONT 41 – The Packers (11-3, 8-2) were doomed by poor shooting against Big Rapids in a key CSAA conference tilt. The teams entered the night tied for first in the conference with 8-1 records. Fremont only made 16 of 53 shots from the floor and had 17 turnovers. Logan Karnemaat had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Packers. Ben Schmidt added eight points and four assists.

KENT CITY 60, LAKEVIEW 22 – The Eagles remained unbeaten on the season with a dominating win Friday. Kent City, now 16-0, led by 21 at the half and allowed just seven points in the second half. Fraser Wilson scored 16 to lead the way while Eli Carlson added 11.

WHITE CLOUD 63, HESPERIA 44 – Hesperia struggled with its shooting in the first half and fell behind 31-12 at the half. Hesperia is now 3-12 and 1-7 in the conference. Freshman Isaac Parker scored 20 points to lead the Panthers. Scott Peters added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Hesperia.
