The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball squad held on to defeat Grand Rapids Union 56-45 on Tuesday in an O-K Black Conference game.

Lauren Ross paced the Rockets with 22 points and 13 rebounds.

Grand Rapids Union led 17-13 at the end of the first quarter, but Reeths-Puffer stormed back to take a 32-24 lead into the half.

The Rockets increased their lead in the third quarter with a 13-5 run.

MUSKEGON 51, KENOWA HILLS 34 – Alyza Winston led the Big Reds to a victory with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Muskegon led 11-2 after the first quarter and 30-9 at halftime. Daz’sha Day added seven points for the Big Reds.

MONA SHORES 44, FRUITPORT 20 – Nia Miskel led the Sailors with a 20 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Mona Shores led 29-13 at the half and cruised during the second half to an easy victory. Freshman Riley Rosenthal added nine points and eight rebounds for the Sailors. Fruitport was led by Sydney Bol with nine points.
