The Shelby Tigers used a 21-point third quarter and a 28-point night by Tyler Schouten to beat visiting Oakridge 63-53 in West Michigan Conference hoops on Thursday. 

The Tigers turned a 32-27 halftime deficit into a 48-39 lead after the third quarter and outscored the Eagles 15-11 in the final eight minutes.

Tristan Landis scored 13 points on 6 of 8 shooting for Shelby and Ryan Rabe chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. Kristian Oberlin finished with five assists and four points for the Tigers.
