The North Muskegon girls basketball squad earned a 57-51 win over Ravenna on Tuesday in a West Michigan Conference game.

Ellie Hayhurst paced the Norse with 17 points, while Chandler Falkowski chipped in with 13 and Mackenzie Fris added 11.

North Muskegon led 15-13 at the end of the first quarter and 29-27 at halftime, before outscoring the Bulldogs 11-5 during the third stanza to increase the lead.

Ravenna (4-12, 2-9) was led by Megan Crowley with 23 points while Ana Postema had 13.

OAKRIDGE 51, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 38 – The Eagles clinched at least a share of the West Michigan Conference title after Tuesday night’s win. Sophia Wiard had a huge game for Oakridge with 32 points, six rebounds and six assists, while Aaliyah Cooper and Gracie Reinhold each added six points. Oakridge (13-3, 12-0) led 24-13 at the half and grew its lead to 21 points after the third quarter.

WHITEHALL 40, MONTAGUE 32 – The Vikings shut out the Wildcats during the first quarter and led 24-16 at the half. Whitehall (8-8, 5-6) pulled away in the third quarter with a 14-4 advantage. Kacy Jeffries led the Vikings with 11 points and eight rebounds, while Karleigh Jeffries added 10 points. Montague was led by Braquelle Osborn with 13 points.

SHELBY 68, HART 44 – Jenny Beckman dropped 22 points in a blowout victory. Shelby (12-4, 9-2) led 29-24 at the half before breaking the game open in the third quarter with a 21-6 advantage. Jaren Smith added 17 points for the Tigers while Tori Mussell chipped in with 14.
