The Kent City girl’s basketball team continued its impressive season with an easy 45-27 victory over Mason County Central on Thursday in a Class C regional championship game at Morley-Stanwood High School.

Kent City led 15-5 after one, 25-12 at the half and 38-18 after three quarters.

Jenna Harrison scored 14 points to lead the Eagles. Kenzie Bowers added 12 and Zara Weber scored six.

Kelsey Kosiboski led Mason County Central with eight points.

The Eagles, 22-3 on the season, now advance to Tuesday’s Class C state quarterfinals against undefeated Pewamo-Westphalia at Cedar Springs High School at 7 p.m.
