The Pentwater boys basketball squad knocked off the Walkerville 66-47 on Wednesday in a Class D district semifinal contest.

It was the fourth victory for the Falcons over Walkerville during the season.

Pentwater trailed 9-7 at the end of the first quarter, then outscored Walkerville 24-11 during the second stanza to take a 31-20 halftime advantage.

The Falcons added onto that lead in the third stanza, as they lead 47-35 at the end of the quarter.

Pentwater put the nail in the coffin in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 19-12 in the stanza to cruise to a victory.

Owen Knudsen led the Falcons (14-7) with 15 points, all coming from beyond the arc, while Billy Sproul added nine points.

The Falcons will take on host Onekama on Friday in the district finals.
