The Mona Shores softball team picked up a double-header sweep of East Kentwood on Saturday.

The Sailors, who are now 4-5 on the season, won the opener 11-3 and then won the nightcap 4-3.

Lauren Patterson picked up the win in Game 1 with four strikeouts.
Zoie Willeke had three doubles and two RBIs, while Maddie Mettler and Veronica Kastelic added three hits each and Grace Hall, Taylor Dew and Ryleigh Wehler collected two hits.
Mettler played the hero in Game 2, cracking a solo homer in the sixth to put the Sailors ahead.
Willeke, Kastelic and Ellery Rose had two hits each. Maddison Van Etten earned the win on the mound.
