Whitehall pitcher Alison Shaffer struck out a total of 15 batters and had six hits in a 15-5 and 16-5 sweep of North Muskegon on Thursday in West Michigan Conference softball.

Shaffer was 4-for-4 in Game 1 while Kate Martin had two doubles, a single and four RBIs. She became the all-time career doubles leader for Whitehall.

In Game 2, Katelyn Goodrich smacked her first career grand slam for Whitehall and finished with eight RBIs.
