The Mona Shores girls soccer team walked away with a pair of wins over the weekend. 

The Sailors topped Bishop Foley 5-0 and then beat Traverse City West 2-0.

Sarah Mikesell posted a hat trick in the Sailors shutout of Bishop Foley. Madelyn Anderson had a goal and an assist and Nora Brown added a goal of her own.

Julie Tierman had two assists and Bri Wade added one helper for the Sailors.

Mona Shores brushed off a sluggish first half against TC, getting second half goals from Anderson and Wade. Mikesell and Peyton Erndteman each had assists.

Alexa Musk posted both shutouts in goal for Mona Shores (9-0).

OAKRIDGE INVITATIONAL – Oakridge went 2-1 on the day. The Eagles topped West Michigan Aviation Academy 2-1 in a shootout, beat Newaygo 8-0 and fell 1-0 to Muskegon Catholic.
Eagle goalie Brooke Ruel posted a key save in the shootout against WMAA and then scored the game winner as the fifth Oakridge shooter. Camri Florez scored the lone goal in regulation.

McKenzie Swarts tallied a hat trick in the Eagles’s win over Newaygo. Andi Cartwright had two goals and three assists, Kirsten Buchner had a goal and two assists while Linea Holmer and Madison Bisson each netted goals.
