The Mona Shores baseball squad came away with a shutout win, defeating Hudsonville Unity Christian 8-0 on Friday in a non-league contest.

Christian Johnson picked up the win on the mound for the Sailors, striking out five batters through seven innings.

Mona Shores was led offensively by Ryan Gillings with three hits while Matt Martin record two hits and knocked in three runs.

The Sailors are now 22-9 overall on the season.
