Muskegon Catholic baseball runs past Manistee in Tuesday Lakes 8 contests; Ravenna splits with Montague

Muskegon Catholic had no problems with Manistee in its Lakes 8 baseball games on Tuesday. 

The Crusaders cruised to a 15-0 win in the opener and a 21-1 win in Game 2.

Nolan Convertini had three hits while Josh Holden, Zach Fooks and Carson Bleicher each had two hits for MCC (10-2, 2-0).

In Game 2, Bleicher posted a double and three RBIs, Navarre Klint had three RBIs and Carson St. Amour had two RBIs to lead MCC in the nightcap.

Riley St. Amour posted the win in the opener and Heath Cory pitched for the winners in Game 2.

MONTAGUE 13-9,  RAVENNA 6-11 – Brendan Redding had three hits and Caleb McCullough posted two hits to lead Ravenna in Game 1. Cam Passenier, Jared Broton and Kevin Ritz each collected two hits for the Bulldogs (8-5, 5-1) in Game 2.
