The Spring Lake softball team extended its conference winning streak to 72 games on Thursday with a 12-1 victory over Grand Rapids West Catholic.
The Lakers also improved their season record to a perfect 18-0, including a 12-0 mark in the O-K Blue Conference.
Leah Vaughn toed the rubber for the Lakers and threw six innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out 11 batters.
Kileah Rymal paced the Laker offense with three hits while Jenna Core added two hits of her own, including her seventh home run of the season.
