The West Michigan Whitecaps completed a sweep of Lake County with a 7-4 victory on Sunday afternoon.

Reynaldo Rivera and Colby Bortles each hit home runs to lead the Whitecaps offense on Sunday. Rivera had three RBIs on the day while Bortles and Luke Burch each had two RBIs.

Whitecaps starter Dane Myers picked up his first win of the season, allowing only two hits in five innings of work. Myers also struck out three.

The Whitecaps are now 23-19 after winning three straight and sit in third place of the Midwest League Eastern Division, 4 and 1/2 games behind first place Lansing.

West Michigan will open up a home series against Fort Wayne, beginning at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
