The Holton softball squad won a Division 4 district title on Saturday at Hesperia High School.

The Red Devils cruised past host Hesperia 14-1 in the district semifinals, then knocked off White Cloud by a 4-1 margin in the title game.

Morgan Murat, Haylee Brant and Taylor Bultema paced Holton offensively in the championship game with two apiece.

Brant pitch the win in the title game, allowing just two hits.

In the semifinal contest, Kylie Gould paced the Red Devils with three hits while Kaylie Piper, Dani Tanner and Murat each had two.

Gould picked up the win, allowing three hits while striking out six batters.

The Red Devils, who are now 30-5 on the season, will face Mason County Eastern next Saturday in Frankfort in the Division 4 regional semifinals.
