The West Michigan Whitecaps were walk-off winners on Wednesday, defeating Wisconsin 3-2 in 10 innings.

Kody Clemens had the game winning RBI, walking with the bases loaded which brought home Brady Policelli for the winning run.

Joey Morgan started the scoring for the Whitecaps with a solo home run in the second inning while Reynaldo Rivera singled home Cameron Warner in the third, giving the Whitecaps a 2-0 lead.

Warner led the Whitecaps with two hits on the night while starting pitcher Elvin Rodriguez took a no-decision, allowing two runs on three hits while also striking out eight in six innings.

Reliever Clate Schmidt picked up his sixth win of the year, tossing a clean tenth inning.

The Whitecaps are now 46-44 overall on the year and 10-10 in the second half, three games behind first place Bowling Green in the Midwest League Easter Division second half standings.

Wisconsin and West Michigan will continue their series on Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
