The Muskegon Clippers dropped their two-game home series with Irish Hills on Sunday, falling 8-3 at Marsh Field. 

Muskegon scored two runs in the eighth to tie the score 3-3. But the Leprechauns responded with a five-run ninth inning to close the door.

Muskegon left 14 runner on the bases, despite getting nine hits as a team,

Nolan Brimbury led the Clippers at the plate with two hits and two RBI while James Roche had a pair of hits and an RBI. Maison Stites also had two hits.

The Clippers fall to 9-12 on the season and now head on the road to Celina, Ohio to face the Grand Lake Mariners for a two-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Muskegon is back home on Friday to host the Saginaw Sugar Beets for a 7:05 p.m. start.
