The Fruitport boys soccer team blanked Grand Rapids Covenant Christian 3-0 on Thursday in a non-league game.

The Trojans led 1-0 at halftime after a goal from Cam Schultz that was assisted by Bryce Lanore.

Eli Covert and Cody Mayette added second half goals. Covert’s goal was unassisted while Mayette scored on an assist from Schultz.

Fruitport’s goalkeeper Connor Hines stopped all four shots faced.

The Trojans are now 3-4-2 on the season.

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 8, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 0 – The Warriors, who completed their third shutout of the week, were paced by Brandon Fles with two goals in a Lakes 8 victory on Thursday.

Charlie Alfree, Andrew Rasmussen, Ryan Bradford-Royal, Michael Masumpa, Hayden Hubers each added a goal for WMC. Isaac Van Hoven chipped in with two assists along with a goal.

The Warriors are now 6-1-2 on the season and will travel to Orchard View next Tuesday.

FRUITPORT CALVARY 7, WELLSPRING PREP 4- The Eagles maintained their perfect record on Thursday night.

Ben Zelenka and Luke Anhalt led the Eagles with two goals apiece, while Luke Assaad, Zach Zehr and Tyler Brown each added one tally.

Ethan Pollock and Zelenka each chipped in with an assist each.

The Eagles are now 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in league play.

MONA SHORES 6, KENOWA HILLS 1 – The Sailors scored six unanswered goals to erase an early 1-0 deficit on Thursday.

George Deveau paced Mona Shores with two goal, while Ethan Brown, Clark Meston, Camden Deruiter and Hayden Yaros each added a goal.

Yaros also contributed with two assists for the Sailors and goalkeeper Keegan Dekuiper and Everett Emery both played in net.

The Sailors improved to 3-3-2 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play.

LUDINGTON 3, ORCHARD VIEW 3 – The Orioles and Cardinals played to a tie in Lakes 8 action on Thursday.

Roger Mckenzie led the Cardinals with two goals while Logan Woods netted the other goal. Alex Cantu contributed an assist.

The Orioles were led by Brayden Porter, Isaiah Lynn and Will Flewelling with a goal each.

Flewelling, John Biggs and Evan Shay each added an assist for the Orioles.

Orchard View goalkeeper Landon Tyler stopped eight shots while Orioles’ goalie Maxime Greiner stopped five.

The Orioles are now 10-1-1 on the season while Orchard View is 5-1-1 on the year.

GR CATHOLIC CENTRAL 1, SPRING LAKE 0 – The Lakers allowed a goal late in the contest on Thursday night in an O-K Blue Conference contest.

REETHS-PUFFER 3, MUSKEGON 0 – Many scoring opportunities and a strong defense led the Reeths-Puffer boys soccer team to a shutout victory Thursday night.

The Rockets scored two first goals on tallies from Troy Beebe and Ashton Carpenter to give Reeths-Puffer a 2-0 halftime advantage.

Jackson McKinnon added the lone second half goal for Reeths-Puffer.

Andrew Storck and Jaxon Carpenter each notched an assist for the Rockets while goalkeeper DaMario Chapman stopped two shots..

The Rockets improved to 2-6-1 overall and 1-3 in conference play. They host Spring Lake this Saturday.
