The Grand Haven football team lost their O-K Red Conference game against East Kentwood Friday night by a score of 55-6.

The Bucs trailed 21-0 at the first quarter before scoring on a two-yard run by Owen Krizan to cut Grand Haven’s deficit to 21-6.

East Kentwood responded with 10 unanswered second quarter points to take a 31-6 advantage at halftime before scoring 24 second half points.

The Bucs were led by quarterback Collin Takas with 39 passing yards, while Connor Worthington added 55 rushing yards on 11 carries.

Krizan chipped in with 52 yards on the ground on 16 carries and collected eight tackles defensively.

The Bucs are now 2-4 on the season and 0-4 in O-K Red Conference play. They will travel to Caledonia next Friday for another league matchup.
