The Muskegon Community College volleyball team went 1-3 over the weekend at a tournmanet at Parkland College in Champaign Illinois.
Over the weekend, the Jayhawks lost to Lincoln Land, Parkland and Illinois Central but defeated Rend Lake.
Jaren Smith paced the Jayhawks with 37 kills while Julie Brown had 33 and Lexi Issette had 27. Kaite Veihl had 128 asssists and 29 digs for Muskegon while Shelby Rasch had 64 digs and Amber Jacobs had 34 digs.
Muskegon drops to 14-6 overall on the year and will next host Kalamazoo Valley at home on Tuesday.
