The Ludington tennis team took seven of eight matches against Whitehall on Wednesday. The final score may have been lopsided, but several matches were tightly contested.

Trent Meeker won the No. 1 singles match for Ludington with a 7-5, 6-7, 6-2 win over Jackson VanBergen.

Ben Laman won another tight match in the No. 4 singles with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win over Whitehall’s Ben Stenglein. Luke Kolb (No. 2) also picked up a singles win for the Orioles.

Ben Ward collected Whitehall’s lone win with a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Carson Holmes in No. 3 singles.

Doubles teams of Evan McKinley and Nathan Lange (No. 1), Owen Wojcicki and Joshua Laman (No. 2), Josh Meinsenheimer and Ashton Cohoon (No. 3) and Luke Reilly and Luke Middlebrook (No. 4) all picked up wins for Ludington.
