The Muskegon Community College volleyball team defeated Lake Michigan College 3-0 by scores of 25-15, 25-20, and 25-12 on Thursday.
Jaren Smith had a team-high 10 kills on the night while Julie Brown and Alexis Issette each finished with nine. 
Katie Veihl finished with 37 assists and Shelby Rasch recorded 23 digs for the Jayhawks. Maddie Heiss led the team with six blocks.
The Jayhawks improved to 22-9 overall and 11-2 in their conference.
