Jayhawks volleyball squad defeats Kellogg Community College in three sets

The Muskegon Community College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Kellogg Community College on Thursday.

The Jayhawks won by service scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-21.

Jaren Smith led MCC with 13 kills while Julie Brown added 10.

The Jayhawks were paced defensively by Katie Veihl and Kennedi Bernia with 16 digs apiece while Shelby Rasch contributed with 15. Veihl chipped in with 39 assists.

MCC is now 13-2 in league play with one match left in the regular season.
