The Ludington football team is just one win away from a playoff berth after defeating Wyoming Lee 35-6 in a non-league game on Friday.

Calvin Irelan and Garrett Meeker each found the end zone on six yard carries in the first quarter to give the Orioles a 14-0 lead heading into the second.

Drew Acre scored in the second quarter for Ludington on a 20-yard run, which expanded the Oriole lead to 21-0 at halftime.

Shemar Jennings scored the Orioles two touchdowns during the third quarter on runs of 44 and 40 yards, respectively, to increase the Ludington lead to 35-0 heading into the fourth.

The Rebels scored late in the fourth to avoid a shutout.

Jennings led the rushing attack with four carries for 102 yards and two scores while Meeker added 71 yards and a score on the ground.

The Orioles improved to 5-2 on the season and will host Stockbridge.
