Spring Lake advances to Div. 2 regional finals, cruises past GR West Catholic

The Spring Lake volleyball squad cruised to a 3-0 win over Grand Rapids West Catholic on Tuesday to advance to the Division 2 regional finals.

The Lakers won by scores of 25-22, 26-24 and 25-14 to improve to 33-7-1 on the season.

Abbi Perkins paced the Lakers with 17 kills while Jenna Core added 10. Core also led defensively with 14 digs.

Madeline Zenas chipped in with 38 assists and Julia Clover had 13 digs.

The Lakers will face host Grand Rapids Christian on Thursday in the regional finals.
