Kaleb Mitchelson scored 19 points to lead the Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team to a 56-45 win on the road over Hamilton on Friday night.
The Rockets led 25-23 at halftime after a three-point buzzer beater by Mitchelson and had a 36-32 advantage heading into the final stanza.
Gary Humphrey III added 10 points and seven rebounds for Reeths-Puffer while Kalil Stimage and Emcee Williams each chipped in with nine points.
The Rockets are now 5-1 overall on the season.
MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 74, LEE LANAU ST. MARY 31- The Crusaders jumped out to a 25-11 lead after the first quarter and led 46-16 at the half of their holiday invitational.
Andre Watson II paced MCC with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists while Jared Dugener 15 points and seven rebounds.
The Crusaders also had a solid showing from Sam Novotny, who scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds.
MORLEY-STANWOOD 73, KENT CITY 62 – The Eagles defense allowed 14 made three-point shots in a losing effort on Friday.
Kent City trailed 40-29 at halftime and 60-43 through three quarters.
Max Hudson paced the Eagles with 22 points while Eli Carlson added 12.
OAKRIDGE 57, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 25- The Eagles were led by TJ Ruel with 14 points, while Koleman Wall and Jalen Hughes chipped in with seven points each.
Oakridge trailed 11-10 after the first quarter, led 22-13 at halftime and had a 40-19 advantage through three quarters.
Wall added 11 rebounds for the Eagles while Ruel had eight.
The Spartans were led by Jeff Carrier with 13 points.
