The Whitehall boys basketball squad defeated Shelby 48-36 on Friday in a West Michigan Conference contest.
The Vikings came out hot in the first quarter, jumping out to a 14-5 lead.
Whitehall led 27-19 at halftime and 39-22 after the third quarter after a 12-3 run during the stanza.
Terrell Harris led the Viking scorers with 10 points while Evan Mikkelson added nine.
The Vikings improve to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
The Tigers, who are now 0-4 on the season, were led by Tyler Schouten with 16 points.
HART 53, OAKRIDGE 36- The Pirates led 17-7 after the first quarter, 25-20 at halftime and 41-30 after three quarters.
Dustin Klotz paced Hart with 14 points and seven rebounds while Alec Kempker added 11 points and six rebounds.
The Pirates are now 2-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.
The Eagles were led by TJ Ruel with 11 points.
NORTH MUSKEGON 75, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 31– The Norse led 23-11 after the first quarter, 45-16 at halftime and 66-26 at the end of the third stanza.
T.J. McKenzie led North Muskegon with 13 points while Jesses Cooke chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.
Jeffery Carrier paced the Spartans with 20 points and seven rebounds.
The Norse improved to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference play while Mason County Central fell to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in league play.
