Girls basketball roundup: Spring Lake and Montague pickup big victories on Monday

The Spring Lake girls basketball team defeated Shelby 69-22 on Monday night in non-conference action.
Madeline Zenas led the Lakers with 19 points and 10 rebounds while Jennifer Judge had 14 points and Pheobe Saunders had 12.
Shelby was led by Ella Olmstead with nine points.
Spring Lake improves to 2-1 overall on the year with the victory.
Montague 57, Tri Unity Christian 21 – Braquelle Osborne led the Wildcats (2-3) with 11 points while Kat Moreau added 10 points. Osborne also had six steals and five rebounds on the night.
