The Grand Haven girls basketball team maintained its perfect record with a 52-36 victory over Mona Shores on Thursday night in non-league play.
The Bucs led 16-9 after the first quarter, led 24-20 at halftime and had a 44-29 advantage heading into the final frame.
Alli Keyser paced Grand Haven with 22 points and seven steals while Esther Byington had eight points and seven rebounds. Kelly Olthof chipped in with eight points.
The Buccaneers are now 4-0 overall on the season and will play Grand Rapids Catholic Central on December 29 at Grand Valley St. University.
The Sailors (0-3) were led by Julia Tierman with 14 points.
PENTWATER 52, BRETHREN 26 – Terra Cluchey led the Falcons with 12 points and six assists. Pentwater led 12-4 after the first quarter, 24-6 at halftime and 35-14 after three stanzas.
