The Muskegon girls basketball team cruised past Fruitport 70-24 in an O-K Black Conference game on Friday night.

Alyza Winston led all scorers with 28 points for the Big Reds.

Muskegon led 19-8 after the first quarter, 44-15 at halftime and had a 56-19 advantage through three quarters.

Bri Alexander added eight points and two steals for the Big Reds, while De’Shonna Ray had six points and three assists.

JENISON 60, MONA SHORES 27- The Sailors trailed 10-9 after the first quarter, 27-17 at halftime and 44-22 through three stanzas.

Brooke LeRoux paced Mona Shores with eight points while Julia Tierman added seven.

The Sailors are now 2-9 overall on the season.

O-K BLUE CONFERENCE

GRAND RAPIDS CATHOLIC CENTRAL 43, SPRING LAKE 25- The Lakers struggled throughout the second half of the contest.

Spring Lake trailed by only four points at the halftime break.

Madeline Zenas tallied a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lakers fell to 6-6 overall on the season.
