The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team registered its seventh straight victory with a hard fought 56-50 victory over Mona Shores in O-K Black Conference action on Friday.
The Rockets started out slow and trailed 11-9 after the first quarter. But they recovered and took a 31-22 lead at halftime, and clung to a 38-36 edge at the third buzzer.
Kaleb Mitchelson led Reeths-Puffer with 14 points while Kalil Stimage tossed in nine, including three clutch three throws down the stretch.
James Gilbert paced Mona Shores with 22 points. Jalen Hopson added 10.
The Rockets are now 9-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.
