Wednesday bowling roundup: Strong 200 scores help multiple teams earn victories

The Ravenna boys bowling team improved their record to 11-0 on the season after defeating Whitehall 21-9 on Wednesday night.
Ethan May led the Bulldogs with scores of 217 and 192 while Mason Foreman scored 196 and Colt Willick scored 192. Rounding out the Ravenna scores were River Buckner with 172, Jake Sladick with 171 and Derek Place with 163.
RAVENNA GIRLS ROLL OVER WHITEHALL – The Ravenna girls team blew out Whitehall 28-2 on Wednesday.
Lauren May paced the Bulldogs with a score of 194 while Amaya Guzman scored 182, Hannah Shull scored 175 and Brieanna McFarren scored 169.
FRUITPORT BOYS TAKE DOWN MONA SHORES – The Fruitport boys bowling team defeated Mona Shores 25-5 on Wednesday behind Cameron Weaver who scored 234 and 194.
Evan Simois scored 220 and 192 for Fruitport while Logan Tietsman scored 202 and 176, Jon Wildey scored 208 and 166. Lastly, Jerod Avery scored 190 and 169 for the Trojans.
FRUITPORT GIRLS FALL TO MONA SHORES – The Fruitport girls bowling team fell 27-3 to Mona Shores.
Jessica Plichta led the Trojans with a score of 189 while Charlee Volmer scored 154.
