The Ludington girls bowling team defeated Fremont 15.5-14.5 on Wednesday in a competitive match.
Paighton Bentz led the Orioles with scores of 177 and 124 while Lily Roberts had scores of 124 and 115.
Rounding out the Oriole scores were Rachel Faust with 132, Saige Phelps with 128, Heidi Faust with 87 and Bailey Streeter with 97.
RAVENNA IMPROVES TO 9-0 – The Ravenna boys bowling team improved to 9-0 on the season with a 21-9 victory over Mason County Central.
Ethan May led the Bulldogs with scores of 234 and 213 while River Buckner scored 224.
WHITEHALL GIRLS ROLL OVER ORCHARD VIEW – The Vikings took down the Cardinals 19-11 on Wednesday.
Jackie Jacobs led Whitehall with scores of 257 and 168 while Jayden Sheehy scored 150 and 141. Rounding out the scores for Whitehall were Katie Ferris with 129 and 121, Molly Karchinski with scores of 141 and 101 and Haylee Spicklemire with scores of 99 and 95.
WHITEHALL BOYS FALL TO ORCHARD VIEW – Sebastian Workman led Whitehall with scores of 160 and 144 while Richie Grow had scores of 154 and 146 and Louie Hosticka rolled scores of 147 and 132.
Charlie Glamzi had scores of 144 and 92 for Whitehall while Austin Redding scored 147 and Tyler Brandel scored 92.
MONA SHORES GIRLS SQUAD CRUISES PAST MUSKEGON 29-1-Nyla Gill paced the Sailors with a score of 210 while Marisa Bacon had scores of 191 and 197.
Mona Shores is now 5-2 overall in girls bowling.
MONA SHORES BOYS FALLS SHORT AGAINST MUSKEGON 23-7- Jacob Calkins paced the Sailors with scores of 149 and 191 while Mark Paperella bowled a 164 and 171 game.
Mona Shores is now 2-5 overall in boys bowling this season.
FRUITPORT GIRLS AND BOYS FALL TO JENISON- The Trojans girls bowling team fell to Jenison by a 30-0 margin.
Jessica Plichta paced Fruitport with a score of 185 and a series of 348.
The Trojans boys fell by a 21-9 margin.
Connor Hines bowled a 210 game while Eli Covert scored a 200-game.
