Weekend girls hoops roundup: Calvary defeats Hart, Shores and Shelby fall

The Fruitport Calvary Christian girls basketball team defeated Hart 55-51 on Saturday in a road contest.
Kelsey Richards paced the Eagles effort with 32 point and nine rebounds while Brionna Johnson added 12 points and 15 rebounds of her own.
Hart was led by Nicole Rockwell with 15 points.
With the win, Calvary improves to 4-1 overall on the season while Hart falls to 4-3.
CALVIN CHRISTIAN 37, MONA SHORES 29 –The Sailors (1-6) were limited to five points between the second and third quarters on Saturday. Bri Wade led Mona Shores with six points and six rebounds.
MANISTEE 52, SHELBY 32 – Ella Olmstead led the Tigers with 10 points and 11 rebounds while Lauren Brown totaled seven rebounds.
