Jarvis Walker’s 17-point performance led the Muskegon boys basketball team to a 72-50 win over Kenowa Hills in O-K Black Conference play on Friday.

Muskegon led 18-9 after the first quarter, 39-19 at halftime and 59-38 through three quarters.

De Andre Carter added 16 points for the Big Reds while Vern Nash chipped in with six assists.

MONA SHORES 49, FRUITPORT 32- The Sailors were led by Jaylen Hopson with 15 points, while James Gilbert added 14 and Davarius Carter had seven. 

WHITE CLOUD 32, HESPERIA 27- The Panthers led 12-9 after the first stanza, 12-11 at halftime and 22-20 through three quarters.

White Cloud closed out the game with a 12-5 tear to complete the comeback win.

The Panthers were paced by Logan Balkema with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Hesperia is now 0-14 on the season and 0-7 in conference play.

OAKRIDGE 73, SHELBY 47- TJ Ruel’s 19-point and 12-rebound performance led the Eagles to a league victory.

Oakridge jumped out to a 28-10 lead after the first quarter, led 38-16 at halftime and increased its advantage to 53-26 after the third stanza.

Jaxon Fri added 10 points while Peyton Young, Tanner Karel and Coco Watson chipped in with nine apiece for the Eagles.

Oakridge had 11 steals as a team.

The Tigers were paced by Tyler Schouten with 10 points.

FRUITPORT CALVARY 51, HOLLAND BLACK RIVER 40– The Eagles were paced by Luke Anhalt with 15 points while Jacob Schuitema added 10.

Fruitport Calvary jumped out to a 17-4 advantage after the opening stanza and led 32-14 at halftime. The Eagles increased their lead to 41-19 through three quarters.

The Eagles, who are now 4-4 in league play and 6-7 overall, had 12 assists as a team.
