The Oakridge girls basketball team clinched the West Michigan Conference championship with a 70-32 victory over Hart on Friday.

The Eagles took control early, jumping out to a 17-7 lead after the first quarter and taking a 38-24 lead into the half. The Eagles led 57-30 after the third quarter.

Sophia Wiard paced the Eagles with 27 points. Brie Pastor followed with 17 points while Halle Jennings finished with 10.

Tressa Swihart led Hart with eight points. Jayd Hovey added seven points while Rylee Noggle had six points and 10 rebounds.

The Eagles improved to 17-3 overall and 13-1 in the conference play.
