The Muskegon Catholic girls basketball team cruised to a 60-31 Lakes 8 win over Muskegon Heights on Tuesday.

The Crusaders went on a 44-19 second half run to complete the victory.

MCC led 6-5 after the first quarter and 16-13 at the halftime break.

Hannah Ladd led the Crusaders with 25 points while JaiLyn Johnson chipped in with 15 of her own.

MCC is now 2-9 overall on the season and 2-4 in conference play.

BENZIE CENTRAL 40, LUDINGTON 30 – The Orioles were outscored by an 18-7 margin during the fourth quarter, erasing a 23-22 Ludington advantage.

Mackenzie Howe led the Orioles with 11 points and seven rebounds.

MUSKEGON 50, GRAND RAPIDS UNION 11- The Big Reds jumped out to a 30-9 lead after one quarter and 50-11 at the halftime break.

The game was shortened due to unsafe playing conditions.

Alyza Winston led the Big Reds with 24 points while Diynasti Dowell chipped in with nine.

Muskegon moved to 8-4 on the year and 7-0 in conference competition.

JENISON 58, REETHS-PUFFER 38- The Rockets trailed throughout the entire contest due to cold shooting as a squad.

Lauren Ross paced Reeths-Puffer with 19 points.
