Weekend wrestling roundup: Orchard View and Reeths-Puffer each take home titles

The Orchard View wrestling team hosted and won the Lakes 8 Conference tournament on Friday with a score of 184.

Orchard View outscored Ludington who finished second with 131 points, Muskegon Catholic with 96 points and Manistee with 94 points.

Cardinals who took home individual conference titles were Arbriana Balderas (103), Jayden Fulwider (112), Cameron Dood (119), Alex Cantu (125), Brendan Hyatt (130), Thomas Shawl (152) and Jordan Tuttle (285).

Ludington wrestlers who won individual titles were Dylan Buck (189) and Tyson Beetz (215).

Gunner Stout (135) and Gabe Flood (140) each took home individual conference titles for the Crusaders.

REETHS-PUFFER WINS OK-BLACK – The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team took first place with 222 points on Saturday in the OK-Black conferece tournament.

The first place finish is the fifth consecutive conference tournament win for the Rockets.

Conference champions for the Rockets were Connor Bloomstrom (103), Jacob Blawat (112), Noah Mckinnon (125), Alex Chipman (130), Jimmy Rozycki (140), Thade Radosa (145), Colby Stephenson (160), Gerrit Andrus (189) and Hunter McCall (215).

Caleb McNeil (152) and Payton Dobben (171) each finished second while Kaden Edwards (135) finished third.
