Local Sport Journal Muskegon Catholic broke open a tight game with a big second quarter as they beat Freedom Christian 70-41 in a River Valley Conference game on Thursday night. The game was tied at 22-22 after one quarter, but MCC went on a 22-7 run in the second quarter to take a 34-19 lead into halftime. Cari Campbell led MCC with 19 points and Jesse Anderson added 10.

Local Sports Journal Muskegon Catholic trailed at halftime before rallying for a 56-50 win over visiting Covenant Christian in a River Valley Conference game. The Crusaders trailed 14-11 after one quarter and 26-19 at halftime, but rallied with a 37-point second half. Haleiigh Locke led MCC with 16 points, Momo Neal added 13 and Katherine Salisz added 12 points and five steals.

Local Sports Journal Muskegon Catholic rallied from a slow start to beat Covenant Christian 71-69 in double overtime on Friday night. MCC trailed 22-14 after one quarter of the River Valley game, but outscored Covenant 18-16 in the two overtime periods. Cari Campbell led the Crusaders with 24 points, Lamar Jordan III scored 14 and Adam Callow added eight assists.

Local Sports Journal Muskegon Catholic rallied for a 47-41 River Valley Conference road win over Hudsonville Freedom Christian on Friday night. The Crusaders trailed 31-28 entering the final quarter before outscoring Freedom Christian 19-10 in the final quarter. Cari Campbell led MCC with 11 points, John Daniel added 10 points and five assists and Adam Callow had five assists.

The Crusaders trailed 39-34 entering the final quarter, but outscored Covenant Christian 18-7 in the final quarter. Katherine Salisz led MCC with 16 points and six assists, Haleigh Locke scored 14 points for MCC and Gabby Thelen added 11.
