Grand Haven graduate captures Spring Lake Invitational Tournament title

Grand Haven High School graduate Collette Hansen captured her first Spring Lake Invitational Tournament on Thursday.

Hansen, 21, defeated Joan Garety 5 and 4 to win the 91^st tournament at Spring Lake Country Club.

Hansen is a member of the University of Michigan women’s golf team and a resident of West Olive.

Garety is a resident of Ada who was inducted into the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 2005.
